AEF Community Education Series – Brain to Five

The Brain to Five speaker series is the result of a unique partnership among the Appleton Education Foundation, UW-Madison's renowned Waisman Center, the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters and the Appleton Area School District. The partnership represents a chance for acclaimed child development experts to share directly with area parents and care providers the very latest on what they're discovering about the effects of socioeconomics and other factors on development in early childhood, among other topics.

The goal of this cutting-edge program is to bring various Fox Cities resources together to create a community-wide dialogue among thousands that will lead to heightened awareness of early childhood learning and the importance of environmental influences.

The original, standalone Brain to Five program has evolved over the years into just one piece of our broader AEF Community Education Program.
